Selecting a Buyer’s Agent

Sequim RealtorThis website is not about trying to persuade you to buy my listings.  This is not a parade of homes.  It’s about helping you find exactly what you’re looking for with the kind of confidentiality you expect from a professional.  And let’s face it, what you’re looking for is probably not listed, and if it is, I can represent you as your buyer’s agent without the conflict of interest inherent in dual agency.  You can search the entire MLS online from this site if you want to.

As your confidential buyer’s agent (and retired real estate attorney), I know the area and can search and find exactly what you are looking for.

Long story short, I started out in the ’70s in Alaska as a Realtor, and then I practiced real estate law for 20 years, mostly in this area in Washington.  Now I am a buyer’s agent in a place known as the Rain Shadow, aka Sequim, Washington on the Northern Olympic Peninsula.  Following is more about me, but you can really find out what kind of person I am by simply typing “chuck marunde” without the quotes in a Google search, but here’s my offer.

Hire me to represent you as your buyer’s agent, and I cost you nothing (sellers pay my fees), and you get one of Washington’s most experienced buyer’s agent and the lawyer in me comes free.  On many occasions I have saved  my clients small fortunes just in the negotiating.  But one more promise I make.  If it’s confidentiality and privacy you want, or total anonymity, I know how to do that exceedingly well.  I would consider it a privilege to work with you, or your agent or attorney.  You will not find anyone who will work more diligently on your behalf.  I promise you that.

More about Chuck Marunde:

Chuck is the author of numerous magazine and Internet articles with a primary focus on real estate, including Pacific Northwest Home Owner Magazine.   Because he has two sons who became professional athletes (Strongman and Mixed Martial Arts), he has also authored articles on the Strongman sport and has been a freelancer for Ultimate Grappling Magazine. In his spare time, Chuck is a sports photographer.

Chuck has combined his love for real estate and technology to create a growing Internet presence in his market, and enjoys building his websites and blogs, including the largest real estate blog on the entire Olympic Peninsula,  Chuck has degrees in Economics, Law, and Education.  He is the author of several real estate books written for buyers in the Northwest.

As the Broker/Owner of Sequim & Port Angeles Real Estate, LLC, Chuck shared this with a smile, “No one has the massive Internet presence that this company has built.   We reach more people, more potential buyers (in California, Arizona, Texas, Oregon, Montana, the Seattle area, and all the way to Florida and Massachusetts) than any other broker in all of Clallam County.   Period.   This is how buyers find me, but it isn’t the reason clients work with me.  Clients tell me they retain me as their buyer’s agent because of my background as a real estate attorney and my experience as a real estate broker.  Beyond that, I work my tail off to give my clients the best personal and professional service they will ever get.

When I practiced law, my real estate clients also wanted me to handle their estate planning, so I learned how to buy and sell real estate anonymously and shield my clients’ personal wealth from their business liabilities.  I learned how to protect my clients proactively and give them all the privacy and confidentiality they wanted and needed.

“I love working with people, and I love negotiating.   Real estate has been my life.”
